Tim Bennett

Tim Bennett is an independent Rock, Folk, and Americana singer-songwriter based in Santa Cruz, California. After growing up in Minnesota, Missouri, and Georgia, his travels eventually led him to California’s Central Coast, where he continues to write and perform.

A vocalist first and foremost, Tim also plays guitar, piano, and ukulele, and has been writing songs for more than 30 years. His thoughtful lyrics explore the ups and downs of everyday life with honesty and heart—qualities that audiences quickly recognize in his sincere and engaging live performances.

His 2017 release Eye In The Lens continues to earn praise, and he is currently writing new material while performing locally with the band Rivets & Rust, which he formed in 2022.

Rivets & Rust deliver a distinctive sound rooted in the spirit of 1970s singer-songwriters, blending elements of Classic Rock, Blues, R&B, and Americana. The band features Tim Bennett (acoustic guitar, lead vocals), Angela Bennett (keys, harmony vocals), Glenn MacPherson (lead guitar, harmony vocals), Mark Hull (bass, harmony vocals), and Jeff Arlt (drums).
